-A few Characters I am speculating Snake for one, for the simple fact that he was a great addition to Brawl, and he is also a very versatile character. He has many toys to use, but he can get physical. Another character I am speculating the return of is Chrono. If I remember correctly, he was in the first Super Smash Flash, and I wouldn't doubt he won't show up in this game newer, badder and ready to fight in all of his new glory. My third Speculation is that Luffy will INDEED come into the fray, because as prevoiusly stated by numerous people, he will complete the Shonen 4. One character I am hoping for the most out of everyone though, is Little Mac. I mean, he is just so awesome in the new Smash, I would love to see what he is capable of in this game. One character I would like to see(though I HIGHLY doubt it)is believe it or not, Midna. Call me crazy, but it could add an interesting twist to SSF4, as stupid as that sounds. I am also expecting Andy to appear in this as well. Advance Wars is due for some recognition.
-Now, a few characters I am sure are not going to make the roster are Shadow, I'm sorry, but Tails and Sonic are enough. I am also not thinking that Skull Kid will be in this either, for the fact that there really isn't a whole lot that can be done with him. Even though I am contradicting myself here, Midna may be better off an assist than a playable character. I also don't think that phoenix wright is going to be in this, for the simple fact that he really doesn't belong in a game of this caliber. He can stick to his court room. Professor Layton is the worst idea ever, what is he possibly going to do? Throw children?(L.m.a.o)I mean seriously. And finally I am really, really not expecting Yugi Moto at ALL. He was about as bad an idea as Professor Layton. He Isn't meant for this game either, and should really stick to dueling with CARDS.
THAT is MY legitimate speculation so far of the character roster.

Yugi fits in Smash man, if you were around during the Expansion Forum days this man has plenty of attacks for an ideal moveset to fit in Smash.

Layton actually ia a skilled swordfighter as you can witness in the second title. Phoenix Wright has a potential moveset, look at Marvel vs. Capcom 3. And btw, its SSF2, not SFF4

Moving on, I speculate Maxwell from the Scribblenauts Games. I mean, he literally can have anything he wants! He could ve a Villager-esque troll character, defensive zoning... Literally anything. Might do a potential moveset for him in the Moveset Thread once I have time for him, he prolly has theost potential out of all potential newcomers.

I never said that your opinion is wrong, I just brought two counterarguments stating that you saying that Layton and Phoenix Wright have no moveset potential is fairly incorrect. I respect the point that they would be a rather odd addition, but they are still possible nonetheless.About the "respect my opinion plz" point, thats exactly what you didnt do. You flatly said that "Layton is the dumbest idea ever", and said that his moveset would consist of throwing children. First, like I stated above, hes a skilled swordfighter and potentially could use some other gadgets from his games. Second, please explain to me how you are allowed to s*** on peoples wishes/opinions and then whine that I disrespect yours, when in fact I didnt say anything negative. All I said that those two characters actually have potential. Nothing else. Please stop putting wirds in my mouth.

I also want to add that you disrespect yet another opinion by saying that Yugi is as dumb as Layton. Again, this is offensive and in no way not "ragging about others opinions" as you called it. This also gives me the idea that that you seem to decide whether an idea is fine or dumb by your own imagination or a moveset. Yugi has a huge potential movepool as well with all of those monsters. I dont want to offend you, but just because you cant see possibilities that doesnt mean that there is none.

Most of these characters are highly requested and some were even present in the previous game. Not only that but some of them already have some form of representation in the form of stages. I think it would disappoint quite a few people if we got none Nintendo based stages without a character to represent them. (Not that this really signifies anything in the long run.)
