As much as they try to keep the CAN IT RUN CRYSIS THING going, the Crysis games are actually really well optimized from my experience. I was able to run Crysis 2 on a machine with 2GB RAM and s*** integrated graphics. Obviously had to lower the res/settings and I had plenty of iffy spots, but for the most part it ran just fine.


(of course the real reason here is that MN9 was lazily developed, but still)

Yeah, I had an easier time making 2 run on s*** hardware than 1 lol, but part of that was tied to my sound card being garbage (aka Realtek. f*** Realtek) back then and f*** up 90% of the game's audio

Yeah for sure I remember my s*** old single core laptop ran Crysis 2 pretty well, even if it did look like garbage. Too bad the game wasn't that fun
