i literally can't take moral choices in video games seriously anymore after playing undertale lol, they're actually (almost) all so cut/dry and boring

I just have no problem with spoiling that because they clearly thought "everyone will praise us because this is a reverse of fallout 3's plot! we're clever!" when it's really just kind of dumb

I would rate the game 8.4 simply so the developers don't get their bonus for a good metacritic score

i also dont really like when the 'cleverness' of a game's plot or anything about it really relies on having played or known about past entries in the series

Well with direct sequels it makes sense (see: all of MGS2 and Chapter 4 of MGS4)
