Discuss Peach specific game-play here.

Her Down Smash should deserve an immediate nerf to its damage. It just deals way too much, and would be too devastating if all hits managed to connect.

After a bit of testing, it's nice to see that Peach can connect with d-air much easier, d-throw now has proper follow-ups, her turnips throw quite a distance(a bit too far?), her side B can be reeled back/forward, her mid-air jump is fairly interesting with how she stalls in the air when you use your aerial moves. An uncharged d-smash usually seems to hit at least 2 times dealing 25% in total, which seems like a lot. Her u-spec's last hit is a bit strange since it seems to allow the opponent to move at the end of the string of hits by the parasol.

Her new double jump seems so awkward. Messes up my timing on my aerials when I try to juggle.

It's what us old folks call a "Double Jump Cancel".

I know what that is. It's just that her new double jump feels so "floaty". Could be just placebo on my part

Could be her gravity or falling speed are low.

Princess Peach honestly feels SO much better for me to play as thanks to her resprite. I can connect with D-Smash SO much better, and MAN, is it satisfying.

This being said, the devs deserve all the props for their work.

Down smash is now one of her best moves by far. Uthrow -> dsmash on Fox seems like a bread-and-butter.

Would it be wrong to admit that D-Smash is a bit...OP?

^ I honestly find :luigi: dair more op than :peach: down smash (mainly cause it's a kill move not just spike), but man the damage of her down smash is insane, 28%!? good lord, doesn't even need to be fully charged for that.

Also the funny thing is, you can probably win a match just with down smash (maybe LOL).

With bad DI, uthrow -> dsmash can easily do more than 50% and get them offstage. It's not broken, perhaps, but it's really good.
