I've downloaded the newest version twice, yet when I open the zip file, I still get a message box labeled WinRar: Diagnostic messages that says "Unexpected end of archive." When I double-click on the .exe itself, two more messages in the same box appear. One says "The archive is either an unknown format or is damaged," while the other says that it "Cannot Execute" the file.
Any idea why this is happening and what I should do to fix this?

yeah well this is the only "problems" thread and ive seen many many MANY people post problems about the game on here and people helped them with open arms. in fact, i saw someone post about this exact issue in this thread but didnt get an answer that worked for me. make a REAL problems thread or dont be rude about it.

Brief reminder, that red text is there to avoid "add luffy" and "captain falcon has a glitch" threads. This is sort of a grey area so I can absolutely see it being posted here.



Anyway, sorry about him. Try redownloading it like Rex said. You'd be amazed. If that doesn't work, try extracting the .rar to a folder on your desktop or something and running the game from there instead

Redownloading didn't help ive had troubles getting it to work once i even successfully downloaded it as well. guess it just aint gonna happen.

Download with a different browser.

Also, this section is meant for problems with this forum or website, not with the game itself. I can understand the confusion, but post in the SSF2 section next time!
