Wouldn't the lack of oxygen make aiming the gun in the right direction a bit hard? Also, there's a chance the cyanide might fall off when your head goes slack.

Note: Don't try this at home kids, do it in a forest instead.

you could always try tying up the rope you use to hang yourself with to the trigger of the gun (might need some complicated set up, but it should work if you are creative enough), if you are worried about the cyanide falling slack just tape your mouth.
