Post I want to make a game....
I want to make a Sonic Flash game in Flash 8. What would be the necessary elements I would need to make it?

I suggest looking up several tutorials for several different kinds of games in flash, when your experienced start using your accumulated background knowledge to build the game. Sonic sprites are very common so I don't believe that would be an issue.

I see. Well, I forgot to mention I was just wondering at least what program I should use to make a good quality Sonic game.

Flash... if your lazy I suggest Game Maker but its really not the best.

GML is a fantastic gateway language but from what I've experienced it has its limits.
