We did this last game and it only "worked" because Shoop wanted to get lynched.

Well, in this game, we're gonna have to think of another way to get evidence and/or claims. Mass claiming now would hardly get us anywhere.

I'm hoping we have a Town Cop, since a Mafia Cop can really mess us up.

Well, thinking about it, we have 3 options

1. Cast a random Lynch, which could end most likely on being a townie, but also giving to us the risk of accidentally killing our cop (if we have one), which would turn us in a really disadvantageous situation, and the fact that there is a mafia cop around, makes this much worse

it could be avoided if we reveal the cop now for avoid lynching him, but puts him on the target of the mafia. Maybe that could help if we have a Doc around, but we aren't sure that we have that combination with us, it's like a 1/6 chance that we could end with a Doc and a Cop.

Or just making a no lynch, but could end giving the mafia the upper hand, but if we have a cop, he could investigate and give us the info we need for propherly investigate the next day (only happening if the mafia doesn't spot our possible cop the same night, that could be really bad luck)

So if we do a lynch, the chances we have are:

5/9 (6/9 if we have a 6º normal townie) Chances of lynch a normal townie
2/9 Chances of lynch a mafia member
2/9 (1/9 if we have a 6º normal townie) chances to lynch a townie with a special ability

Considering this maybe it should be better to cast a lynch, the chances of getting into a member with abilities are as low as stopping into a mafia, most likely we end getting a normal townie, which still makes the town outnumbered but i feel it's better to use our little chance we have, than just not use it and give the other team the advantage

We'll have to figure that one out for ourselves. It's not just gonna become obvious on who we can vote/lynch.

On second though random lynch doesn't sound too good to me anymore. We kill a townie on accident, and then the mafia kills another. It's too big a risk.

It's better then doing nothing. If we start a lynch today we can gather more information during the voting(how people react and how they vote) to dial down the number of suspects for tomorrow. Ending the day right now will leave us with nothing to follow up on tomorrow(except the cops investigation which will more likely then not have a townie result.)

Dephius I'm curious as to how one person voting for you changed your views on an RL so drastically.
I can understand not wanting to be killed, but if you so firmly believe that we should NL, wouldn't that be the smarter tactic to push, rather than an opposing RL?
