i actually like a lot of the special edition changes
specially empire strikes back, the sunset backgrounds in cloud city look gorgeous af

I actually watched one of the original Star Wars movies, which was Return of the Jedi, because in the Special Edition, nothing changed except the ending. I liked the Special Edition ending (so does my dad and my brother), but my mom likes the original because she didn't like how the replaced the David Prowse Anakin Skywalker with the Hayden Christiansen version and how they removed the Ewok Song. So, my mom, brother and I watched the original Episode VI (roman numeral for six), and watched the ending. Personally for me, the Ewok Song was kind of bland, but I kind of liked it too. So out of both endings for both versions of Return Of The Jedi, I like the Special Edition more.

same i like the special edition ending song a lot more, the ewok one always felt kind of boring (specially cause you don't see any other planets celebrating or anything)

I'm sure back then in the 80s that ending must have been great but i'll take the special edition one anyday
