does a computer run better with two video cards in? i have a ati radeon 5770 hd in and was trying to reflash a ati radeon 6850 hd (which worked, surprisingly), but now i'm just wondering if i could keep them both in and get better performance or something
thanks

It makes a difference when gaming, but make sure your Power Supply can put out enough juice for both of them.
You're going to want at least a 700w PSU.

Also make sure that there the cards themselves have drivers which can handle two different types of GPUs. If you ran the same card, it'd be no problem at all, just an issue of power, but still, check drivers.

AMD Crossfire supports dual GPUs. It generally helps when gaming on larger resolutions or multiple monitors. I'm not sure is those two cards are compatible so you might want to look that up. Also 700W is overkill. I can crossfire 2 6850s on my 500W power supply.

It's always good to have more power than not enough with video cards.
