I had no f*** clue who those first ones were but Ayumi Tachibana looks hella swag. Mainly because I really want to see a kawaii schoolgirl fighter in SSF2. I could see her using her schoolbag for smash attacks as well lol.

If Roy does get in, I'd like to see a mix of Sm4sh and PM's moveset. Take all the unique moves from those games, and Roy will only share animations with Marth in his Uair, Usmash, and Dtilt.

I will actually make a ranking system based off my character list later. But I know that Luffy, Shadow, and Little Mac will make it to the top.

Actually, it was finalized by February 2013, but you are right on point in this statement.

I think its possible they could have done what Sakurai did, plan to add characters from already announced games. X and Y had been announced and Awakeninghad released in JP before the roster was finalized and we all knew the final release wasn't gonna happen 'til around 2016-2018. So its possible they planned to add characters from series/games that were announced before the rosters finalization.

Yeah but I imagine when the Devs finalized the roster they had move sets in mind for each character. Not fully fleshed out but at least the basics. You cant really do that with a character that has not been released. Nintendo can get away with that because its the same company that makes the source game, but the Devs of SFF2 are just average gamers.

I see that Ayumi Tachibana is being speculated. Even though I have never heard of her, she is apart of Nintendo's history and I am speculating that the Devs are going to add a few obscure Nintendo characters like Andy, Lip, or even Takamaru. If I speculate another obscure character, I will pick Ayumi because she seems to have so much potential for a great moveset.

Andy, Lip, Takamaru, and Ayumi sound like an awesome lineup for Nintendo Retro reps. I know they all have terrible chances to be in SSF2(mainly because fanboys only want Shadow, Luffy, and Vegeta) but if they were all playable together that'd be the best thing ever. I can see them all sharing the same column on the character select screen! lol

Yes, but at the same time this is entirely possible. For example: let's say they pre planned to have a 6th Gen Pokemon in SSF2. Lets say they waited for the full release just to get a look at the entire Pokedex. By the time October comes the game would have been out for 2yrs, plenty of time to have a fully planned Moveset for any Pokemon. Not to mention at the time of the roster being finalized, the game was nowhere near halfway finished. The Devs have/had plenty of time to create a complete Moveset and even begin implementing that character into the game. If the Devs(at the time) took into account the current progress of the game, and new they'd have time to add this character then its definitely possible. Especially if he was planned to be unlockable in the final release.
