Is it possible to edit the board features to make name changing possible by the user?

Not that I want to take away Hakker's job, or make it so we don't have to wait for him to change them himself, but, in a practical sense, the process we use right now is incredibly unnecessary and can easily be simplified.

Gotta say, it'd be a b**** remembering who w as who. A lot of people would change every week or so.

Not often, because I see the people request the name change in the topic.

Except that it wouldn't be regulated. Everyone could change their name to Cl€od9 or DT42, or some s*** like that.

And if they requested name change from hakker,they wouldn't be able to change their name to Cl€od9 or DT42 since hakker wouldn't allow that

It is that hard if lots of people do it. Once again, a b**** to keep track of.

I'm 99% sure it will show up in the moderator logs, seeing as how when someone deletes their own post, that shows up.

Depends on how its implemented.

It's terrible, trust me. For several months on my forum, the ability to change your own name was on, but once it was widely discovered, people kept changing their name and being stupid and you didn't know who was who and it was just a massive pain.

Maybe it would easier if everybody knew you were originally in the first place like this example.

That's because your forum was full of braindead idiots.

On another forum I happen to go on, it isn't abused whatsoever, and not all the members that old.

So, basically, you're trying to make this into another forum.
