Nah, iirc he claims that the plane was shot down accidentally in some military training exercise.

Just curious, which country? Because if he claims that Malaysia would shoot down its own plane that's frankly quite ridiculous. OK, maybe our government is ridiculously corrupt and whatever, but they've blown quite a bit of money into MAS already...
