Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 2 and Super Mystery Dungeon are worth buying just for story and music (half of Super's soundtrack is recycled from Gates, but the new songs are pretty good), but from what I understand gameplay is basically Shiren with Pokémon moves, items, and the type chart, so if you want totally new and original gameplay this is the wrong game for you

I beat all of them except the third. You're right, Red/blue was also great, play that one too. the lynch mob scene was total bs though

i heard Explorers of Sky was the best one but i haven't played it

ok so I love toucan sam because toucans are f*** awesome but I gotta point out that garfielf is one of the actual worst pokemon designs of all time

Can't say I too pleased with mr toucan. It's not that I didn't want a Pokemon based on that I just think it shouldn't be to much to ask that the woodpecker stays a woodpecker and the toucan is at least stylized in a way that makes it look different than a real toucan drawn as anime.

I still don't. It didn't go seagull, seagull, pelican. Besides water bird to water bird at least has some kind of theme. Woodpeckers and toucans aren't thematically similar in the slightest.
