Talking about BBS, if the reason Roxas looks like Ventus is what I theorised(from recently watching the ending), why doesn't Roxas back-wield a Wayward Wind?

Or.. He didn't have the keychain???

Sora's heart didn't "eat" Ventus' heart.

But yeah I'm guessing that since Roxas is technically Sora's Nobody that's where most of the influence came from. I think that the only thing that was influenced by Ventus was appearance.

Ventus' light asked Sora to be a part of his heart due to its ill state. The reason why Ventus' and Roxas' looks go hand in hand is because Roxas is the owner of Ven's heart. This is why Roxas is even able to perform the Synch Blade naturally (his second key blade resembles the one Ventus wields) whereas Sora has to go into a Drive Form to use it. What I don't understand is that since Roxas and Sora go hand in hand too, why can't Sora use the Synch Blade Ability without going into a Drive form in the first place?

I kind of spoiled the plot to myself considering there's no way I'll be purchasing a 3DS anytime soon.

Well techically Roxas wasn't able to perform Synch Blade until he absorbed Xion near the end of 358/2 Days. It's supported by the fact he spends nearly the entire game using one KeyBlade. Now as to why Sora never uses Synch outside of Drive Forms...well your guess is as good as mine. Perhaps the thought never really crossed to him, or it could be simply he's more comfortable wielding one Keyblade instead of two. Hope that question gets answered in the future.

I doubt NA will get extra content. The only reason BBS got extra content for the NA release was because it took so damn long to get the game over here. With the launch date already confirmed, and a nice amount of voice actors saying that they have been working on it, I don't think we will get new content. I'm thankful though, that the release date isn't in September or something insane like that.

BBS wasn't the only game that had something added for international releases. KH and KH2 also had stuff not found in the original.

What actually, the thing is that Controlling two keyblades at once takes more out of whoever is doing it than just using one keyblade. Xion was basically a clone of Roxas' DNA(If nobodies even have those, but you get the point), the keyblade she wields is a copy(could be called a clone as well) of Roxa's keyblade. So basically Xion = Roxa`' and Xion's keyblade = Roxas' keyblade`. The similar DNA is what allowed her to control his keyblade(when he gave it to her whe she forgot how to summon her's). Basically what all that means is that by default, it's possible for Roxas to summon Xion's keyblade. Now when he absorbed her near the end, he not only got his full strength/power/insert correct term here back, but also the complement that would allow her to control A keyblade in the first, there fore he is now strong enough to summon and use both simultaniously. The Oathkeeper and Oblivion keychains are irrelevant, they're a reference CoM, and to the fact that Xion was made in CO, and also to the whole Sora's memory subplot(Oathkeeper is is inpired by Kairy's charm, which Namine made Sora believe was hers, and Oblivion, obviously is a reference to Castle Oblivion itself, while using it, you deal a bit more damage, but your own HP goes down a little, this is a "practical pun", "to find is to lose and to lose is to find".)

My, doubt was simply, shouldn't Roxas default keyblade be Wayward Wind? Because he had Ventus' heart in him(hence why he had emotions, and looked like him), wouldn't it make sense if the keyblade that chose "him" really chose Ventus and was after his heart? And since Ventus already had a keyblade wouldn't it also make sense that it was the same one?

Other wise I can only I see it, is that Roxas' keyblade was Sora's keyblade's nobody(if that can happen).

BBS wasn't the only game that had something added for international releases. KH and KH2 also had stuff not found in the original.


Yes, the international bosses for KH, I forgot about them. Yet, KH was released in Japan in March and didn't come stateside till September, just like BBS. And the only changes I believe that were made to KH2 were censorships.

Hmm...yeah you do have a point. I forgot that Roxas had Ventus's heart in him, so it makes sense. If that's the case, then Sora should be able to use it outside of Drive Forms. Also, I thought that Oatkeeper and Oblivion were meant to represent Sora's memories of Kairi and Riku?

Please explain to me this memory reference.
All Days does is make Roxas summon both keyblades as kingdomkeys then transform them simultaneously.(I know about the flash backs on the bottom screen)

Nomura stated that Oathkeeper and Oblivion represent Sora's memories of Kairi and Riku respectively.

Probably because of how much he was connected to darkness in the first game. He usually assosciates himself with the darkness as far as I recall.
