I'm currently watching full metal alchemist:brotherhood and i have one question...why are parts of the story not shown?
for some reason the characters talk about events that should have happened but didn't,for example:at the beginning of ep.10 Edward looks beaten and he explains that he fought with envy and lost memory after that,or when the elric brothers knew who scar was and have fought with him before..but the fight was never shown so is it just the story or should I watch the original series? _________________ <~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~> sorry, I only listen to freshest jams from the youngest leans |

You should watch the original series. They both start out with a similar plot, and as such Brotherhood kinda rushed over them, a lot, at least up until episode 16, where the plots diverged greatly.

No, I could've swore that it's the opposite way. The original was WAYYY off because it caught up to the manga and went in a different direction than it should of. While brotherhood followed the original story of the Elric brothers

Brotherhood is like DBZ kai...it leaves the good stuff out.
