Then just go ahead and make this invisible, it will stop people from begging to get in anyway.

Or at least diminish it.

OK, now that the RPB section is invisible to non-pros, here are some categories of testing we can do:

Character sheet (Character structure)
Basic dialog with NPC (Speech/interaction structure)
Obstacle course (basic action structure)
1 on 1 fighting (advanced action structure)
1 on many fighting (ditto)
Cooperative fighting (team structure)
Boss fight (yes? no?)

And of course, we look for grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. throughout the whole course.

Add and give ideas/thoughts. This is a very basic list.

...That's a...good question. How about a stickied thread in the RP Discussion?

Character sheet (Character structure) No need for a sheet, give them 200-800 words.
Basic dialog with NPC (Speech/interaction structure) This will require a dedicated person to do this. Depends on what kind of dialogue training it is too.
Obstacle course (basic action structure) No complaints here
1 on 1 fighting (advanced action structure) Against NPC I hope, and yes, it would make for good times.
1 on many fighting (ditto) See above
Cooperative fighting (team structure) This will require a certain amount of trust, heck knows why I would want to wait a day for my team mate to pitch in.
Boss fight (yes? no?) You mean just all of the above fights put together?

And of course, we look for grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. throughout the whole course. Don't forget tone, style and diction.

Character sheet (Character structure) - What do you mean by 200-800 words?
Basic dialog with NPC (Speech/interaction structure) - It would be a normal, average conversation with an NPC. Why would this require a lot of dedication?
Obstacle course (basic action structure) -
1 on 1 fighting (advanced action structure) - Yes, yes, against NPC.
1 on many fighting (ditto) - Uh huh.
Cooperative fighting (team structure) - Basically, the player will team up with a few NPCs controlled by the judge and fight a large force of enemies. Yeah, it might get long because of log on time differences, but it's the same as fighting against the judge's NPCs.
Boss fight (yes? no?) - Just an idea. I'm not even sure this is a good idea. I mean, we already have plenty of combat tests...

200-800 words? No... let them type any bio and judge based on quality not quantity.
Boss fight... eh this would fall under any of the other combat tests, depending on the 'boss'.

Yeah, so, we've given up on this whole idea, I see. First comes the idea, then the enthusiasm, then more ideas, then we just kinda let it fall into a hole and leave it there. That's not too surprising.

i'd like to, i really would. i -really- want to shape up this RP section. i feel less motivated to post now x.c; or maybe its just my mood lately.. either way, this section needs a tune up.

What we wanted to set up first however is RPB being invisible or securing ourselves an invisible section. this to me is vital, i'd like to set up special event rp's and what not and thatd be much easier with a section like that. Plus we need to really set up the standards for joining the rp forums.

And kick some people out already - -

I’ll provide a method for kick-outs, if it is truly desired. One moment while I edit the first post.

However, the addition or removal of members will still be on hold until the whole RP Junior section, or whatever you wish to call it, is either established or rejected.

First thing we need to confirm is whether or not the RPB section is visible to non-pros, and if not, fix it so that it is so. I thought I saw a thread or two saying that the RPB section just "disappeared".
