When you search for a member that changed her/his name would it be to difficult to auto correct the searcher to the user current username?

Sounds like it would be, quite frankly, impossible. There's just so many things that could and would go wrong with such a search.

The easiest solution to finding a member who changed his name is finding an old post of his, and orienting yourself based on that.
