I know but i didn't see anyone talk about it so i decided to post it up as a reminder.

I assume the new trailer (If there is one) is going to be footage of the recently announced fighters and Naruto's Bijuu mode.

Also, I hope that they have playable versions of the game at TGS. Some gameplay videos containing full matches would be nice.

In the screenshot, Super Sayain Goku was also shown, let alone a seperate screenshot of a beefed up white-haired guy (that is some form of Yusuke, right?), so I'm guessing that aside from the ultra combos shown in the trailers (Gear Third Gatteling, Spirit Bomb etc.) characters will have access to other ultra combos as well, with some characters transforming.

I kind of hope that Luffy doesn't get Gear Second as an ultra though, Gear Second seems quite... obsolete now.

Some stuff about the characters seems odd. Like most characters has their most recent appearance and moveset, but for some reason Ichigo and Sasuke don't.The Ichigo on the game is based on his pre timeskip bankai appearance and not on his "actual" bankai appearance, while sasuke, based on his artwork (neck zipper opened) and on his Susanoo (bone-like), looks it was based on his version priot he gets the EMS (Eternal Makenkyo Sharingan) with Itachi's Eyes, which is too odd when Naruto has Biujii mode to begin with..

Also, about transformations, not sure if the game is trying to be on check on what the anime of each franquise was showing off atm, or folowing the manga of each with osme stuff from the animes. Because, in case of yusuke, his transformation has black hair on the manga while i was shown to be white on the anime, and some characters may have transformations that have not shown in their respective animes, which is the case with Gon Freeccs

PD: i was watching some Jojo Bizarre Adventure (Phantom Blood), and now i am more in favour with Jonathan Joestar to be in the game rather than Jotaro (specially considering that the only thing that Jotaro does is call Star Platinum and spam ORAORAORAORAORAORAORA and Stop time for keep spamming ORAORAORAORAORAORAORA )

If anyone from JJBA is in the game, it'll be Jotaro first. Like, no matter what.

Part 3 is by far the most popular part. (at least, in Japan) If you don't appeal to the majority, you're missing out on more money.

I think they're just going with the most preferable/famous attires rather then the most recent ones. One might also argue that Vegeta and Goku are in their Frieza Saga clothes, rather then the designs from Dragon Ball GT.

Good argument, except by the fact GT is uncannon and wasn't made by Akira Toriyama in the original manga, and cosidering shonnen jump is more manga-related than anime-related, then they use the stuff that's actually cannon to the series.

That's the reason why the new Dragon Ball Z movie, the Tarble episode, the One Piece/Toriko/DBZ special (and the upcoming new DBZ saga acording to the rumors) takes plase after the buu saga, which is the stuff up to date that Shonnen Jump is considering up to date. (Also by the fact that Vegeta on that media uses again his Saiyan Armor from Cell Saga)

For the second Bleach rep I'd prefer Orihime or Rukia myself, but I dislike Bleach so I'm probabaly not the best judge. Yu Kanda or Lenalee Lee would be great for second D Gray Man reps.

For the second Yu-Gi-Oh rep I'd say Seto Kaiba.

Anyway, i personally think that there will be like a two character limit per series, since it's a 2 vs 2 game, a character pair could work well for a possible story mode (like with Street Fighter x Tekken or Project X Zone), but yeah, just a guess.
