The storm was quickly approaching as they all noticed that the wind and rain was getting stronger. The waves were getting larger and larger, splashing ever now and then into the canal. Their work definitely made a noticeable difference, the barriers that they were using to fill the holes of the canal. Water was beginning to continually flow through the canal as it was being diverted away from the city and back into the sea.
While their efforts were not in vain, the vast quantity of water flowing through the canal was a becoming too much for the weak walls to handle. Some of the walls crumbled as they were hit by the powerful waves, water flowing into the city through these weaker areas in the walls of the canal. In fact, waves were quickly rising towards the quartet from where they stood.

Panicked individuals scrambled out from the bus as Mike opened the emergency exits. The UN Security Force was a few blocks away but the team would need to escort them to the location, at the threat of risk to them as they journeyed to the safety point.
Crying children, dishevelled women and tired elderly looked at the trio waiting for what would happen next.

"Pantheon!" spoke Mercury suddenly into their communication lines, "A major warm front has caused the storm to regain power and it has returned to category 5 status. Landfall will be in approximately half an hour. Assess your current missions accordingly and be careful"
