it'll come free with Wii Sports Resort, which will basically be a hardware demo like Wii Sports, but I think it'll be fun.
I'm personally really excited about this. Now that the Wii will be able to sense the angle of the Remote, things like sword games will feel way more real. I hope they incorporate this into the sequel to the Force Unleashed.

EDIT: There seems to be some confusion as to how this thing improves the WiiMote. I'll try and explain. Currently, the technology in a WiiMote is what's called and accelerometer. It can sense when the remote moves and in what direction, but not the actual position of the Wiimote. The Motion Plus adds what's called a gyroscope. This allows it to read the position and rotations of the Wiimote.

ya, basically. I just thought if I explained the technical part, it would help them understand the improvement.

Finally, someone who backs it up.

...

Why the heck didn't they shove a gyroscope in there in the first place, anyway?

It's not like it's something that hasn't been around for a couple of hundred years.

Still, putting my issues with all of it aside, this could indeed improve the wiimote's accuracy, if applied correctly.

I'll wait, see and in the meantime make fun of Microsoft's ripoff.

So they could add it later to get more money, just like Nintendo always does?

this is Nintendo's way of telling us:
We don't really think it needs to be added but i'm pretty sure if we put this up on the market we can make a quick 2 Billion Dollars.

Face it >_> You don't need to get the Wii Motion Plus for any particular reason.
