I used to be in a similar situation where I'd overreact towards people disagreeing with me. Now I just accept the probability that if they say I'm wrong, they are probably correct that I'm wrong as long as they give concrete reasons as to why, and I just accept it.

When asked about it, she simply said that she had been recording stuff, but was unaware of shantae in smash.

like yeah it'd be exciting to see a Link in Melee but they want to optimize their play. if they win a close match with Link from so much practice, they could have done the same amount of practice with Fox and potentially have won with extra stocks
using top tiers doesn't directly raise or lower the skill ceiling, it raises the skill floor. still not directly, but it influences it more than the cieling
