Ratchet&Clank is a series of platform games developed by Insomniac, exclusive to the Playstation consoles and handhelds. The games features the duo of Ratchet and Clank, who blast, explode, wrench, shoot and morph their way through their adventures with an arsenal of bizarre weapons and gadgets.

Originating in 2002 with the playstation 2 title 'Ratchet and Clank', the series remains going today as one of the most popular playstation franchises.

Discuss the games here (big suprise, no?) My favourites games in the series are R&C1,3 and A Crack in Time.

I finished the first two not long ago. Gonna play the third one soon.

I love Insomniac, and you can tell there's a lot of love and care put into this series, just like in Spyro. I feel like the second one had a massive difficulty jump compared to the first, and way too much emphasis on grinding to get the last few weapons, but they're both pretty solid games.

I kinda liked how Ratchet: Deadlocked had a different ultimate weapon, instead of the Ryno Rocket Launcher. Also how you could mix and match effects onto weapons at any time, provided you bought them for it.

You mean strafing

Yeah I didn't pick up on the importance of that until pretty late in the game

Still doesn't help the grinding thing, though

Is 'strifing' even a word? I don't think it is.

EDIT: According to Ubran Dictionary it's supposedly a word, but I think you confused it with striving? (which in turn is also not the correct word to describe the motion I guess)
