You need a separate dash key in order for it to work, I suggest disabling auto-dash if you're going to implement a dash key. To shield drop, you must hold the dash button then press the down directional button - there you have it.

You can shield drop with auto-dash too. You just have a walk key instead of a dash key.

Implying that turning off auto-dash will make your tilts easier to use. Tilts are essential for setting up combos and ultimately leading to your victory - I will just resort to having a separate dash key. _________________ Mah mains: |

Or you get a controller and just press down with your control stick while in shield on a platform
