forgot about bolded, i'm also looking forward to it skm's benji wasn't that great from what i heard, sorry to disagree with you :0( the new swans record was decent i guess, i get why people would like it if they were big fans of the seer, it didn't stick out for me at all. i think it'd be cooler if they made another album like white light new agalloch was cool, and i've already stated this but the new boris album rules really hard

I honestly can't stand Swans' cabaret type work for whatever reason, it really hasn't aged well Gira's solo projects (Angels of Light, Body Lovers) are much better at conveying his whole subdued melodious guitar ideas than mid-career Swans ever were. Swans as a band work best delivering crushing heaviness and repetition in my humble onion, as overwrought as their recent output is I'm a sucker for sad old men singing about being sad and old and men.
