I am getting way too distracted by Super Training. I didn't pay any mind at all to EVs before, but now I feel like if I don't shape every single pokémon that I catch before they enter even a single battle, then they'll grow wrong.

This is probably a no-brainer for everyone, since whoever's bought the new Pokemon by now has already probably beaten it, but seriously, max out your style in Lumiose. Take part-time jobs at Hotel Richissime, buy a ton of Premier Balls, do whatever it takes so you can get a good haircut. Because when you find the ultimate weapon, you can take your picture in front of it.
