Stand-alone units are boring sadly as you can't play them like a paired unit, they might as well not exist.

last game had 19 pairing units and there's now 19 paired units...
I just hope they have more in reserve now and won't make it a trend for future games to have only 19 units

in terms of numbers i'm glad there's not so many enemies it seems
despite selling the first game i might get this since it fixes a lot of my favorite pairs (Yuri/Flynn and Dante/Vergil in particular) and there's a lot less enemies.

i am a bit disappointed though that a couple pairs are weird now (KOS-MOS/Fiora, Zephyr/Vashyron) but i'll get over it

I really liked the ratatatatatatatattatatatatata with Zephyr/Leanne and all the crits

The one pair that's not a pair anymore that I'm sad about is Gemini and Erica.

the main thing that bothers me about Vashyron being the one with Zephyr is that he fits far more as the third unit, Zephyr/Leanne was perfect

i haven't played RoF in a while but aren't zephyr/vashyron the ones who are actually good at shooting stuff
leanne makes more sense as a solo in that sense, like as support. but i mean when you're actually RoF they're all interchangeable so idk

as much as i like RoF i wasn't really a fan of their unit in PxZ, their attacks were pretty boring compared to some of the others. i will admit that zephyr/leanne's super attack was cool though

they were, i was just referring to the characters themselves more. Vashyron seems a little more, i'unno, "isolated" from the other two.

I think Frank West can go well with a lot of characters, which is why he's so fun in games like this. I think he could show up alongside Chuck Greene (who could motorcycle-chainsaw through enemies) or Rikiya (who was in Project X Zone) or even one of the House of the Dead guys.
