What about if they add a Chat Box in Online Mode? That will be great, isn't it?
 Kinda' like to put the box on the lower right corner... That will be amazing |

Personally, I'd rather see a live chat option (with headphones and mics and all). Would allow for real-time talking instead of waiting till the end of the match to type something (obviously, if you try to type while Smashing, you'll get wreck'd).

The problem with voice chat is the huge amount of data that would be processed and sent at the same time, causing large amounts of lag for the players. Also, having any form of communication would allow for online harassment as well. Without a system in place to stop this, such as muting for voice chat and muting/reporting for messaging (the chat log can be sent as well as proof), this would be a serious problem. I think that, in the interests of data processing and safety of users, an IM feature that can only be accessed in the pre-game lobby or something would be best.
