IMO both Sonic and Tails still look extremely jarring compared to the rest of the cast. Even Yoshi/Ness fit in better.

I think a lot of us have been crying for a respite. I asked multiple times on the Twitch chat (sry tho geno ) concerning this and Geno said that sometimes they just deliberately not answer questions. A new Sonic CSS has been made for us though. Perhaps Sonic and Tails' resprites are already in the making, and time must tell. For example, the new spring from Sonic's Up-B.

Sonic has been using the same Sonic Battle sprites since what? v.0.4? lmao

I know sprites take lots of effort and time to create, but I hope the art/animation team have already seen Sonic/Tails' desperate need of a resprite.

Hell, give em the Naruto/Ichigo/Goku treatment if you guys feel like. Half of his attacks are him spinning in a ball anyway

Apparently, aerial DownB has been changed to spindash, so rip bounce attack. I never used it mainly because it was unsafe anyway.

I'm no spriter myself, but holy crap yo're being savage on them.
I'm pretty sure the devs are well aware they need resprites. You know spriting a single character takes about over 3-months right? Be thankful they're still being balanced despite their looks.
(I also think they need resprites, but there's a right way to ask for things, you know)

Idk man, a big complaint given to us besides controller support (which we now have ) is inconsistency.

But yeah, I understand spriting is lots of hard work and effort. I just see characters like Wario and Peach get complete reworks made of love, and Sonic/Tails are receiving the short end of the stick. FeelsBadMan

They give most attention to the prominent Nintendo characters, so it might take time for the devs to get the sonic characters.

I do agree that since Sonic and even Lloyd have been here longer then the characters that were just recently sprited is a problem.

Yeah, but let's leave that to the devs if they're resprited. I guarantee you they're working on them, just that i'ts not that big of a priority compared to actual new content.

Ok, about Sonic himself in BETA rn.

They remove bounce attack (like I said before never really cared about it) and replace it with midair spindash. Dunno what else this option may bring.

Hopefully Lite will give us juicy new tech on it tho ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I still think Brawl/4 Sspec is still better than this lame Wolf light dash thing that's even hard to kill with besides fthrow to it...
