In a world of dreams corrupted, a ruler plays a game, with six people abducted, only remembering a name. The name commands power, unimaginable to man; the name wants them to climb a tower. A tower so tall, and monster ridden, it would be near impossible, and quite improbable, to succeed. And yet, not to try was forbidden, and, if they won, it was said they'd be freed. Many had failed, as the ruler had done this more than once (this was the eleventh), and none had won; and so, the Persons would learn to hate that name. The name of the ruler, the name of the man who had sent sixty Persons to their deaths; yes, the Persons would learn to hate the Seventh. And yet, they had no choice but to play his game. They would have to learn his cans and can'ts. They would have to play his game of metaphorical six-sided dice, and chance.
