His is the best, hands down.

I really like Ken's theme in this game, and yeah I'd agree Rashid's is the best new character theme by far.

Edit: Added both Scott and Baron, can't seem to find kb "cool_dude" though. Fantastic search engine this isn't.

while i admit Rashid's theme is Amazing. F.A.N.G and Karin's fit more into my style of music.

Yo guys, unfortunately I don't have my hands on SFV yet, but how do you think it'll fare competitively? Like, hows the character balance so far and stuff

The game is already getting it's fair share of play in the competitive scene and it'll only grow from here. The engine is really solid, the best it's been I'd say from my experience so far, it flows really well and just feels really nice. Not sure how balancing is so far, I've really only played Ken and Laura and have yet to test other characters.

Sounds great! I havent really seen too much SFV, just some gameplay from youtube peeps (ie Max Dood). I have yet to see players like Daigo, Wong, Infiltration, PR Rog and etc. go at it in SFV and Im really hyped to see it in the future. Been kinda getting tired of just seeing SF4 (and its variations) for the longest time

The characters are actually very well balanced. Tatsu > DP combos don't exist anymore so all the shoto characters lost a huge damage output that they had, the c.lp combos are also awful now and far more punishable. Ryu's still every beginner's dream, but far less annoying than he was in USF4. My only complaint would be the window on Ryu's parry is far too lenient for such a good V-skill, but that's just a whiny opinion. Gief also lost Banishing Flat but he's still just as he was balance wise as much as I know. Bison's much better in this game too.

Good taste. The remixes in his story mode are also super good.

The main stuff of his design is kept reasonably intact, with the only changes being that he wears his vest is being worn as a kilt and that he has changed his hairstyle a bit. I'll have to get used to the new, shorter hairstyle ab it but I'm going to wait untill I see the in-game model since the transition to model will make him look different anyway but overall I'm pretty happy with it. I really hope we still get the bomberjacket as an alt though.

It's much easier to pull off frame chains in this game. They changed the requirement from 1-frame to 3-frames. I wouldn't classify this as "simplifying" or "dumbing down" like I've seen from some people, just making the game much more accessible and more comfortable for players starting out.

Yes, and they are going to start releasing characters once per month, starting with Alex next month. You can unlock these characters with in-game money that you earn by completing various tasks, including daily challenges.

i'm still sitting here thinking was that really Ibuki on the DLC thing because i wish it was Sakura instead i still like Ibuki though.
