Mac Application Not Running

Post Mac Application Not Running
So I downloaded two different versions of SSF2 v0.9, the latest and an older one, and neither of the application files are working. I click the application, it bounces for a few seconds then stops. I have the data as well, am I supposed to place that somewhere? Pretty sure flash is updated, and it's running OS 10.8.5
