I already need a new 3DS, because the circle pad on mine is beginning to stick, so it's great that I'm hearing about this before I go out to buy a new one.
On a related note, anyone know how to fix a sticking circle pad? It still works, but I can't push it as far in some directions as in others. _________________

Does the "may not be compatible with all 3ds games" thing apply to digital copies, or just physical copies? In general that's really stupid.

I think it's a disclaimer in case any game relies on the position of the cart for some meta s*** or something Think DSi not being compatible with Guitar Hero DS |

People got it wrong, the new 3DS will have backward compatibilities but not for games that requires a GBA slot or some accessories that could normally fit on a 3DS (Any accessory that firts on a 3DS won't work).
I'm hoping we can get the GBA games in the Eshop for the New 3DS stupid nintendo ambassador pieces of s*** it's not our fault you bought it for 249$ for f***'s sake _________________  |

Seriously, does anyone know how to fix a circle pad? Or at least keep it in a somewhat playable condition until I eventually trade it in for a New 3DS?

You could consider purchasing these: http://www.amazon.com/Circle-Pad-Cover- ... B00C1XYUSM I bought these because the rubber cap on my original 3ds came off. This was a nice replacement. I used double sided tape to attach it instead of glue.
