I feel like that may have been an intentional prude-trap or something. I don't know. I was deterred by it a bit too, but not enough to stop watching. Curiosity proved to be good in this case.

And yeah, Senketsu's appearance is entirely necessary to go along with the themes of the series, so I can accept the fan service. Were it totally useless/gratuitous without any real reason, I would've dropped this series forever ago.

i tried so hard not to laugh since in the scene they were trying to talk about something serious but it was impossible the lights holds too much power

Just not a fan of useless fanservice. And, like 90% of fanservice serves no purpose for the plot.

I can appreciate fanservice when it's done right. Satsuki and Ryuko are fanservice done right.

And Mako this episode was hilarious. MakoxGamagoori is imminent.
