Blue Mage, care to try my unspeakably easy problem?

What a joke, there is a cap on what questions can be asked in order to allow everyone to know the answer

Algebra 1 spans only the basics of Algebra. Just keep it easy so nobody gets bored failing the problems, DVDV.

ok my turn,

y=3x/4+21

-9x+3y=66

How many solutions does this linear equation have?

Is this too hard?

yup i got it right!

K here it is (it's very easy):

y=3x/4+10
4x+3y=30

How many solutions does this linear equation have?

Try solving this one Blue Mage! (it's really easy)

infinite

Ok, how's this (btw, I don't know what Algebra 1 is but stuff it, go learn algebra 10 (or whatever the highest is) and don't complain)

Simplify
((2x+y)/(x-3)+(x-y)/(x+3)-(3x+2y)/(x^2+x-6))^2=4

then find the relationship between x and y

x² is part of Algebra 1. You probably aren't that far, though.

Yeah, we're not there. I just browsed the chapters the other day. All we've learned with exponents is numbers with exponents in equations.

Hmm...
((2x+y)/(x-3)+(x-y)/(x+3)-(3x+2y)/(x^2+x-6))^2=4
(2x+y/x-3+x-y/x+3-3x+2y/x^2+x-6)^2=4
(2x+y/2x-3-y/2x+3+2y/x^2+x-6)^2=4
(2x+y/2x-y/2x+2y/x^2+x)^2=10
(y/-y/2x+2y/x^2+x)^2=10
(-1/2x+2y/x^2+x)^2=10

And I can't figure out what to do from there.

We decided to drop that one because it's not Algebra 1 so try mine instead!

y=3x/4+21

-9x+3y=66

How many solutions does this linear equation have?

... easy so ridiclously easy....A. because you have two linear equations right thar and B. Linear equations go in straight neverending graphs so infinite # of solutions if not kill my math teacher I am in 8th grade...

yeah..... different countries have different standards (We officially caall it algrebra 1 but learn SOME not all 2).
Hwever I am sure he meqant what is the solution for the linear equations... if so no prob.

y=3x/4+21
Y=3/4x +21 okay so now we...

-9x+3y=66
-36/4x + 9/4x +63= 66
-27/4x =3
so far -6.75x=3 .4(barnotation) or for simplicity x=9/4 so now that the domain is found we plug it in.(9/4,[blank])
y=3(4/9) +21 12/9 4/3 +21 4/3 + 63/3 okay so now y = 67/3 and now to divide... 22.3 (barnotation) so that be 198/9 divide (gulp I hate long division) j/king 22 so that was no mistake so far and it is (9/4 or .4 [bar notation],22.3[bar notation] or... 22 1/3) so (9/4,22 1/3) or (.4[bar], 22.3[bar]) now to graph to see f I am right... (oh god) oh wait I JUST realized I did the overly complicated and long way... crap take your awnser....
