the sequel to two very special PS2 action-rpgs, along with spiritual follow-up PS3/360 Nier - Drakengard 3 is set to be my personal goty
i would never call the series the best - dated graphics, sometimes mediocre combat, but incredible writing and stories, surreal gameplay twists, and music that are some of the best of the games' respective generations

us version drops May 20th in both standard($50) and collector's edition($80, novella, ost sampler, poster, prequel dlc with additional playable character) - there is some preorder dlc(including japenese v/os[!!!!!!]) that diminishes more and more as the game comes closer to release, so if you want it, make sure you hop on board soon

Dunno about this but every day you don't play Nier you're missing out

ugh, i can hope that the prequel DLC comes out i guess
tales of symphonia chronicles is gonna be a huge blow to my budget
