GENERAL PROCEDURE:

• After around 10 players sign up, the game will begin. Everyone will start out with 20 Stocks.
• At any time, you may challenge another player to a duel in this thread, but you may only issue 2 duels a day, and these two cannot be to the same player.
• The two of you will play one 4-Stock, 8 minute match. No Items or Hazards. Charge Stacking is legal. The Stage list is: BattleField, Smashville, 3DS, Stadium 3, and DreamLand. The player accepting the duel can ban 1 Stage, then the player declaring the duel can choose from the remaining 4. Character selection is double-blind.
• If you have less than 4/20 Stocks remaining, self-destruct so you start the match with however many Stocks you have left.
• After the match is over, each player loses the number of Stocks they lost in the match. So if A beats B and has 3 Stocks left, and both started out with a 20 Stock count, A now has 19 and B now has 16. THE WINNER IS REQUIRED TO REPORT RESULTS IN THIS THREAD, including how many Stocks they have left.
• You may decline a duel (by posting your intention to do so in this thread), but this will cost you 2 Stocks. Repeatedly not showing up to un-declined duels will get you disqualified. Try your best to finish duels within 48 hours after receiving notification.
• The last TWO players remaining wins. The last player to be eliminated before them gets third place, and so on.
• There will be special events happening throughout the game, like supply parachutes (may contain +1 Stock or something) that goes to the next immediate winner of a duel, or hazards. Keep an eye out!
• Feel free to strategize, communicate in private, and all that stuff.

ALLIANCES: At any point in the game two players may agree upon an alliance by both posting their intention in this thread. You can only be in 1 alliance at a time.

In an alliance, you may:

• Fight as a team, with team damage ON. This means you can 2 vs. 1, or 2 vs. 2 if up against another alliance. You can still fight alone, however, if you wish. Each player still loses the amount of Stocks they lost in the match. The alliance will act as one player when it comes to Striking Stages.
• Gift Stocks. One member may transfer any number of their Stocks to the other player, as long as no player has over 20 Stocks at any given moment. To do so, post your intent in this thread. You may not transfer more Stocks than you have.
• Break up an alliance. The alliance will no longer exist. To do so, only 1 player needs to post their intent in this thread.
• Backstab. Your teammate loses 8 Stocks instantly. The alliance is immediately broken. To do so, post your intent in this thread.
