i like to think after a lot of trial and effort ive managed to make the distortion and compression and reverb sound tolerable and even.... cool

Just a WIP Remix I'm working on. It's the Ganondorf battle theme from Ocarina of Time. I would love any suggestions or criticism. [Link Removed - needs a lot more work. Sorry.]
The piano is just a placeholder, so I'm gonna replace it with something a bit more intense once I find what I want to do with it.

i suggest that you first make sure all of your instruments are in the right key & also playing in the right time signature (the original is 23/16) before uploading a wip for Constructive Criticism on the internet

This is why I need criticism -- I'm not particularly knowledgeable. So I'll take some wisdom from the post, but the condescending tone isn't necessary.

are you using any sheet music for reference or doing this entirely by ear? the intro especially sounds off, like a completely different progression
i didn't mean for my original post to come off condescendingly but a track being completely out of tune and off time is pretty hard to overlook and not something you need any particular base of knowledge to notice.

The progression of the intro is based off the trumpets later in the song. That can be changed.
The second verse definitely has bad timings, and that's something I accidentally did before exporting. I took the drum loop out of place. Not saying there aren't more issues, but that was one for sure. I'll work on improving it.
EDIT: I'm going to remove the link, not because I want to hide it, but because I want to improve on the current criticisms before anything.
