In that second character select picture, I see 2 more unlockable characters? why? each row has nine characters

the first row up from the bottom has 8 characters revealed, and room for one more

the bottom row has 4 characters plus the random button, sakurai said that each mii type will have it's own slot, so that takes up three, slots, taking the bottom row up to 8, so there's at least one more character to to unlock.

Here's Hoping For Issac (Golden Sun), and Rayman (Ubisoft) For The Two Remaining Slots, But That's Just My Pick

With the Grand Total I Counted 48, + One of Each Mii Type: 51, and 2 slots left over (c'mon Issac & Rayman! >_<) it Brings the Total up to a Whopping 53 Characters (Not Including Alt. Costumes)

personally i'm not very heartbroken and nobody was cut that i'll really miss (except snake but nobody expected him anyways)

i feel bad for people who mained one or all of the cut characters though

I'm hoping he is, I find it strange he is third party and gets representationas a trophy only and ususally you only get trophies, sticketers, songs etc. represented to 3rd party characters that are playable characters. I just find it a little strange, but correct me if I'm wrong (which I ususally am, no doubt xD)

Wolf is the most tragic to me subjectively. I don't like to play the others much

But losing any character with unique moves is a shame, especially IC

Hopefully some of them manage to make it back anyway, through DLC or whatever

Can anyone cite a source that confirms that IC as "Cut Characters" and not "Any Characters That The Player In The Second Photo May of Not Unlocked".

As an Ice Climbers mainer, it would be nice to know for certain instead of having people assuming the worst at you constantly; It's really a drag.

My Hopes For SSB4 (as Playable Characters) were:

Veterans: Sonic
Newcomers: Mega Man, PAC-MAN, Shulk
Stage Boss?: Ridley
Assist Trophy: Takamaru
Not Yet Confirmed: Snake, Issac, Geno & Rayman

He most likely is not a playable character, there's plenty of 3rd party stuff that are extra/trophies in the game so it's anything but strange.

Also, it's been confirmed that Mii Fighters are NOT on the same screen as the other characters, but are selected under "Mii Fighter" separate from "Characters".
