About two holes in the phrase "a straw". (both in the a's) But if you go with the capital "A STRAW", you get another hole. (in the R)

Two holes, each entry/exit formed counts as a single hole
To those of you who believe a straw has one hole: is a trash can (for purpose of mental illustration this is a standard open-end cylinder design) a big straw with a blocked hole, or does a trash can just have one hole _________________

the straw needs a hole to breathe from when it's put underwater, so it can grab a snorkel and breathe while it's submerged

a straw has zero holes it's just a sheet of plastic rolled up
a straw would only have a hole if you poked one into the side of it |

kinda sad to admit this but the switch to paper straws are what finally got me to stop going to mcdonalds
