AS3 is a Flash coding language. SSF2 and Smash Engine Demo are in AS2 right now. AS3 can do more things than AS2, with less lag. But if something is started in one of them, trying to switch to a different one will take forever as you have to recode it from the ground up.

Same goes for items. The SSF2 demo is already INFINITELY superior. no lol Cleod got rid of all of SSF1's problems right off the bat this is ssf2, not ssf1.5, it's redone from the ground up., he finishes things before he adds them to the game Runouw is two people. Cleod is one coder, along with a huge team of devs.

Very good demo/engine, i liked the home run (highest distance 1139.4 :)) the best.

Does look as bad SSF1 if you just go by the aesthetics, but this is almost as good as SSF2 with controls, Online Multiplayer, plus faster physics.

Then why is it called the Brawl engine demo? Because its going to have Brawl characters, however the hitstun is based off of melee. As are character weights and gravity values.
