Windows Media Player isn't playing files, updating, or even loading up. So I need now, a different player such as Winamp (but not that because that didn't work either).

I have it but I mainly use WMP.

I have no idea why Winamp would not be able to be used on your machine unless you're running Linux/Unix.

Post a screenie of what happens when you try to run Winamp or WMP. It probably can be fixed.

for WMP, I don't have Winamp anymore so I can't screenie it...

Normally, I would go into the reinstaller and go into custom options to allow the file to be played. It was taken directly off my camera, so there is no middle man in between so no file problems could happen. But, when I tried to update it, it said it was already updated (but as you can see, it is the old format)

That file type just looks incompatible with WMP. What file type is it?

That's not the point I am making. When I go to reinstall (or update) it says it can no longer be updated, and therefore, not able to change the file types (it is acceptable, a movie file, and it is only available on a custom set-up.) So it cannot play it (it plays music and default files fine though, but no repeat, shuffle, or movie files)

So I'ma try VLC now.

I still don't understand what you're talking about. I mean the picture doesn't exactly describe your problem. It just says it doesn't recognise the file extension.

If you're looking to convert video files types I'll see what a google search can turn up.

That's a RMVB file compatible with most Media Players. Works best on Real Player since it IS it's creator.

This Thai. It IS compatible, but I cannot get the update since my system restore. Without the update, I cannot configure custom files (which happens to be movie files, and extras)
