it's complicated because if it was done that way, many people would end up buying 1/3 of a game in physical form and then have to wait to get the rest of the game digitally

it'd be a terrible idea to have the later two thirds of the game be online only because so many people would not be able to play it.

It would still make a good optional choice though, some people don't find it amusing to have to drive to a store and wait on the 50000 billions others doing the same exact thing.

Or better yet, just make the entire game available the first time you f*** buy it, instead of milking us for all it's worth.

I mean, if it wasn't so f*** obvious that they're intentions are to get as much as they can outta this game, then maybe i'd say something like, "Maybe they're doing it to let us get a chance to play it as soon as possible while they work on the rest."

Also I see a lot of people crying over the battle system not being turn based. I think the biggest reason they arent going with turn based is because it doesn't give them the freedom of expression that the flashy graphics will, it's way more appealing to the eye this way and allows for a more engaging experience at the same time.

I failed to remember that the reason Cloud is so "scrawny" is because of the Mako poisoning, if we look at the AC version of Cloud we see he isn't much bigger, in all honesty I think its just because of how realistic the art is in this game, it's not all anime-y or whatever.

at first i looked at 100GB and i was like "well that's not much" and then i took like 2 minutes to think about it and realized that titanfall was only like 10 GB and that's with uncompressed music

Square-Enix says that the release will be divided into chapters because of filesize but I seem to be the only one who sees the actual benefit of this strategy which is that we won't have to wait seven-plus years for the full game. As long as each episode is reasonably priced I don't have a problem with it.

I have a question about FFXIV

So there's a PC release and a console release. I assume the PC version is the better one to play, but I've seen 3 separate versions.
Is it like one is a base game, then a dlc pack and then the "Complete" one includes both? I've been needing to try it out but haven't really looked into it...

there's the base game (which also has a collector's edition that has some additional items or something) and the first expansion, Heavensward

i don't think there's a "complete" edition or anything yet because well, it's not complete

also you can play the PS4 version with a USB keyboard and mouse and the PC version with a controller so it's not like either one is the "better" one to play, it's up to you really

the online is cross-platform too

Is the keyboard and mouse easier to use than the controller?

both are fine
