One of Adobe's latest updates appears to have broken the offline version of SSF2 v0.8b for most players.

The files for v0.8b have been re-uploaded to take care of this issue

Also, Mac users who have experienced problems playing the downloadable version in the past may now be able to use it.

If any Mac users would like to report if the downloadable is working for them that would be great too :)

I still get the white screen problem.
It happens on Konoha when I use Naruto. :P

This fix is for the "You are not playing on MG" error which prevents the game from even starting, as well as the Mac users issue of not even being able to open the game. Any more complex issues will be addressed in v0.9.

Yes they do, they have a diverse group of testers, ranging from Mac users to WXP users. At least as far as I remember. Most of the testers are the developers anyhow.

I think it's called the "devmo", for private testing builds, only for the devs :nod:

Because nothing in the actual game changed. All this fix did is make the downloadable version of 0.8b playable again.

@Cleod: Mac version works.
