I dont find sonics voice annoying. However, the devs should take out his victory quotes and replace them with something else. No what we actually need is Ryan Drummond and not stoned surfer Sonic. However I do miss "Come on step it up!" a lot. I appreciate the gesture of doing the down taunt mid combo however. Sonic might not look like it but he has LOTS of range. He actually has a longer grab than Marth (which btw WTF) and his ftilt and bair have huge range to keep people out.
What I do with Sonic is that 80% of the time im playing slow but then Ill go high speed in short bursts. Instead of playing the rushdown game you can insteead play the space out game just fine

As far as i know, Sonic in SSF2 has good range, great speed and strong knock back. However, its harder to combo, recover and rack up damage unlike Brawl. Super Sonic was good in SSF2 0.8 but got WAY too nerfed in 0.9. But talking seriously, I think Sonic is good the way he is already. I'd just add the "C'mon, Step it up!" taunt back.
I don't really see why you complain so much about him. I think it's perfect, even if I hate the series, I think it's pretty fitting.

I feel the same way. I prefer his voice clips from Brawl than Smash 4. I do think Sonic's recovery should be buffed. I also think his damage output should be increased by a little. _________________
