It is kinda weird I agree but Cloud is kind of the face of the franchise and he also appears in Final Fantasy Explorers for 3DS. Still tho hot damn. Sakurai is breaking the limits with the 4th party support. Sonic, Mega Man, Pac-Man, Ryu and now Cloud. Seems like anyone's game at this point woah. C-can I still hope for Simon Belmont..?

you can justify all of those pac-man was a rival of donkey kong in the arcades. he's as relevant as sonic is, really snake was a favour, we know this already the SNES version(s) of street fighter 2 are the home releases that everyone remembers the most this one doesn't even have a minor justification, it's just "hurr cloud is popular put him in there"

How crazy is it that once Cloud and Midgar are released, Smash 3DS will have as many stages as Brawl, with 20 more characters!  _________________ Current projects: Black Knight F.E. You know these are weak justifications, especially Ryu The reality is that Sakurai's not concerned with a character's Nintendo-ism. If he's gonna reach outside the box, he's going for the most famous game characters of all time Honestly? f*** Master Chief and Crash seem half likely after this, I have no idea where the line is

crash bandicoot was in this one GBA game i had that was actually pretty good. there were probably more too
and those s*** crash games that weren't made by naughty dog were on the gamecube and the wii
crash bandicoot has been more prominent on nintendo consoles than cloud has
