My idealogy on character designs is that it's comparable to a quality wine.

It needs time to ripe. I myself usually just start doodling and occasionally I discover a point of interest and start playing around with that.

But don't play with quality wine. Drink that stuff instead.

Reworking the rest of them until they're a little more interesting.

In order of what they are, Dominion, Malachim (Just another word for the Angel Class, as Angel is too broad), Principality, Authority, Virtue, Power (Subcategory), and Ruler.

Bottom are again, the Seven Princes of Hell, each representatives of one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Missing are Satan, Asmodeus and Leviathan.


TLDR: Yes, they are all original for my own series, but the princes are based on their descriptions according to scholars with modern influence. (IE Beelzebub being a man with a frog, human and cat head with spider legs. Some things were dropped because a three headed cat frog man isn't as intimidating as what I made, IMO.)

Mass edit to the OP, tightening it up and giving reason and characterization for things, along with categorizing things according to their universe, four of which are my own thing.

So are do the angels of El live in the human society? Because they seem rather 'normal' and urban as compared to the more fantasy-like demons.

None live with humans. Angels in Heaven, Demons in Hell, others where they fit it.
The reason they look like that is really just because I designed them that way, but handwaved into them being heavily influenced by humans and learning as much as they taught them originally. Demons are typically confined to Hell, and hate humans anyway, so they tend to avoid them unless it means soul stealing.

The Princes are going to look a lot more demonic, though, being representations of the culmination of sins as well as being based on existing material. Lesser Demons look as human as the Angels for the most part, except they have horns, and smaller deformities like scars, tattoos or burns.

A pretty obscure reference is utilized in this. Any of you read 15th century political commentary?


The (Human) Leviathan. He, as well as a few of the others, have different forms, but those are pretty damn hard to make, so they might take a while.
