I got that impression as well. I'm no fan of Nixter's play right now, but I didn't like Terra's read recall either. It seemed almost... preemptive, if you will. All it took was one post by TheOneWhoKnocks calling Terra's methods into question and the guy jumped ship immediately. Not only that, but he did so while attempting to maintain an illusion of authority with "Alright, I have a pretty nice picture right now." He also ends his post with "I'm really conflicted on this read", which seems like an attempt at avoiding responsibility and a withdrawal from a discussion that he knows he can't win. Add in a subtle OMGUS in the form of "TOWK-Nixter is making me paranoid" and I'm beginning to see a recipe for scum pot pie.

Any townie simply taking back there opinion especially if they're called out is scummy. Not sure if I should vote, terra please respond.

To everyone: About half my post where I explained my vote on Nixter also involved me looking at him possibly being town, so other than me being half-hearted about the Nixter read, there's nothing much to say about me "apparently" taking back my read.
From my perspective, I just fully analyzed the options and reconsidered my read, which I would've done anyway even without prodding.

Actually, to be honest, I could see TOWK-Nixter right now. TOWK builds a case on me based on my reaction to Nixter and my taking back of the read, and Nixter jumps on it, thinking that I would be lynched because he knows that TOWK could potentially do stuff like that.

With that being said, I'm town this time. Like seriously.



Think about it from my perspective. If you found another option that lead you to reconsider your read, would you state it and run the risk of looking "scummy"? In my opinion, it's better for the town to state any changes in your reads almost immediately, whether you run the risk of looking scummy or not.
