I think more contests are a given. But group conversations/chats could be nice for people who work in upcoming games who need to discuss.

More contests would be cool, but that largely depends on who is hosting it because there is also the added on "prize" that goes along with contests, and if the prize is crap then no one is going to bother entering unless that user just likes to win.

I'm fairly certain that the chat thing was suggested a while back and turned down.
I'm not against it or anything, but I see more people using outside applications and sites to communicate for group things. Skype or that Xat thingy are examples lol
