Then you're using the word "clone" completely wrong.

There's no point in judging a character solely by his specials. Saying "well specials wise he is def a clone lol" doesn't really mean much at all. That's like calling Lucas a clone because he has similar specials (which i'm sure some people do). It's not that the moves are just covered up to look different, they all actually function differently and are used in way different situations, bar Uspecial maybe.

About Ganondorf, hmm. I'd probably say he's definitely still a semi-clone. He had some very large changes in Brawl, but i think he's still very similar to Falcon animation wise, at their core. I'm not saying I'd like that to change though, since I think it worked out really well for Ganondorf. I wouldn't mind seeing additional changes, but I'd like his rushdown style gameplay that he had before to stay put. No swords please haha.

Yeah exactly, this is where the issue is i think. Lots of people throw the word around, but a lot of people don't really get exactly what it means to be a clone character.

Just take Street Fighter for example.

If Fox is Ryu, then Wolf is Ken (or Akuma or Sakura or whoever the f***).

They only look like similar characters. If you think they're "clones", you don't actually know what you're talking about and anybody who does is going to laugh at you.

Yeah his Down Special too I guess, but to a lesser degree.

Anyway, I was trying to study the gameplay from the Sakurai vs Random Dude match, and I'm tempted to say that it does look significantly faster, from all aspects. I hope I'm not just seeing what I want to see, because i'm crazy excited for that. I think Void told me it was said that Smash 4 will be a sort of hybrid of Melee and Brawl, so we'll see how it goes.

I LOVE the new effects. The strong knockback effect when they're flying off screen (it's sort of like a flaming trail from a meteor) looks really great, as well as the accent effects for fast motions. Love it all. Hope we get a new character reveal soon.

I think that the game will be faster but not too much. Are you talking about the Megaman vs Mario match? The effects do look pretty damn good I have to say and all and I also hope we get another character reveal soon. Who do you think will be brought back from brawl that they have not mentioned yet?

I see Diddy Kong, King Dedede, Meta Knight, Luigi, Yoshi, and many other characters returning

so yeah, i expect most of the cast from barwl to get back....wel, excluding Lucario and Ike, Ike will be replaced by Chrom most likely.. and lucario may be reeplaced by zoroark, or by a 6 gen pokemon...........or....

.......Bring Mewtwo again on his new "Tail on head" form, yeah, ALOT of people are especulating Awakening Mewtwo to be on SSB4
